Ivan Connor Memorial Trophy

Lisburn Rotarian, Ivan Connor, was a passionate Rotarian who worked tirelessly on Rotary’s future growth and the development of membership. He was a very popular and active member of the Rotary Club of Lisburn for over 20 years and loved the ‘Service above Self’ ethos of Rotary.

Following Ivan’s untimely death in October 2017, the Lisburn Rotary Club members and Ivan’s widow Dawn Connor created the Ivan Connor Memorial Trophy in his memory, which is awarded annually to the club demonstrating outstanding performance in attracting new members.

Club members congratulated Finian Joyce for his leadership in spearheading the successful membership drive, which played a key role in securing the Ivan Connor Award.

The District 1160 Annual Conference took place at the Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin from 27th to 29th September 2024.
