Castlebar Rotary held its Annual Club Assembly and Presentation Evening on 16 June 2026 in Garbo’s, Castlebar.

The evening opened with President John Mulroy’s address, marking the end of his year as President. Members also welcomed incoming President James Murray, who will begin his term in September 2026.
Cheque presentations were made, official photographs were taken by Alison Laredo, and the club was delighted to welcome two new members, Leo and Shireen Dohery.
With 23 Rotarians in attendance, including the King of Rotary Connect, the evening was a great celebration of the club’s work, community projects and fellowship.
By all accounts, it was a wonderful evening with a brilliant atmosphere, great company, excellent food and plenty of positive reflection on the year gone by. Members and guests commented on the warm welcome, the strong sense of fellowship, and the pride everyone felt in seeing the many projects and good works delivered by the club over the past year.
