Niall O’Hara has had a very interesting career – engineering background, established a marketing agency, next a tech startup co-founder, then a self taught masters in machine learning and now continuing his machine learning journey as a team lead for Stripe.
Castlebar Rotary: Careers Programme for Secondary Schools
In this week’s Careers Connect Programme installment, Niall O’Hara, Machine Learning Engineer at Stripe talked to the students of St Gerald’s about his varied and extremely interesting career to date spanning engineering, marketing, tech startups and machine learning.
He shared many practical insights with the students on the paths he has taken and where his proactive decisions have led him.
Careers Connect is a Castlebar Rotary Programme that brings speakers from the worlds of Science, Business, Medicine, Law, Technology, Community Organisations, Entertainment and beyond into the classroom to provide insights into their career journey and personal experiences.
