Paul Mescal ‘blown away’ by Irish fans at Gladiator II Premiere II in the Lighthouse in Dublin last night. The Kildare native spent almost an hour interacting with the crowd of fans. The Oscar-nominated actor praised Irish fans in an interview with RTÉ, stating that he was “blown away by Irish fans who come and stand and wait to meet us.”
The Gladiator II film will be in Cinemas this coming Friday 15th November. Rotary are delighted to have secured this Movie for our Annual Film Premiere 2024.
As expected tickets are flying out the door for this great movie and in support of a local Autism project and other Rotary causes. We do have a few tickets left and are hoping to make this a full house so please contact a Rotary Member or call to the Bowling Alley for tickets.

Gladiator II is the sequel to the hugely successful original Gladiator movie, a historical epic that brought in more than €432 million worldwide. That movie was nominated for 12 Oscars and won five, including Best Picture, and also garnered its star, Russell Crowe, the Best Actor Award.
Crowe’s powerful performance as the gladiator hero, Maximus, helped create the movie’s critical and box-office success. Now, after many false starts, the long-awaited and debated sequel is here: Gladiator II.
