The Rotary Youth Leadership Development Competition is a prestigious event that has been organised by Rotary Ireland for over twenty-five years. It is designed to unlock the potential of young people, develop their skills, and broaden their horizons. The competition involves several stages, including interviews at the school, club, and zone levels.

The winners are selected based on their leadership potential, communication skills, and ability to work in a team. Áine’s victory is a testament to her exceptional leadership skills, dedication, and hard work. We are incredibly proud of her achievement and look forward to her continued success.

The prize includes a five-day all-expenses-paid trip, which includes a visit to the European Parliament in Strasbourg. This trip will provide Áine with an excellent opportunity to further develop her leadership skills and broaden her horizons. For more information, please contact Castlebar Rotary Club.

Well done to Willie Geraghty and Vivienne Kyne on another successful Castlebar Rotary Club Youth Leadership Student.
