The Club welcomed District Governor Declan Tynan and his wife Pat to the club. Castlebar is the 55th club in the district that they have visited under Declans tenure to date. They had visited Ennis the night previous, Galway for Lunch, Castlebar for evening dinner and from there, they were going straight to the Limerick Club !
District Governor Declan gave a presentation about âProject H2O â Rain water harvesting and his recent visit to Kenya and the works carried out there by rotary.
He also spoke about a wide variety of rotary projects including Bikes for Africa, Youth Leadership, International Womenâs day and the ongoing collaboration between Rotary and Gorta.
His presentation was warmly received.
