This years Rotary Castlebar Youth Leadership winner.
Sophie O’Donnell representing the Castlebar Rotary Club went forward today (Thursday 22nd) to the Youth Leadership Interviews in Athlone. Sophie did very well and has succeeded in getting through this regional final and will be taking her place on the Rotary Trip to Strazbourg/Dail/Stormont.
Sophie is a fifth year student in St Josephs, some of our members will know her father, John O’Donnell, the Pharmacist. She lives on the Newport Road.
Well done to Sophie and St Josephs Secondary School. This is the second year in a row that a student has been selected from St Josephs (Niamh Donnelly was last years winner).
