The local Castlebar Rotary Club is offering a unique opportunity for an individual in the community to apply for a Rotary World Peace fellowship.  Up to 110 Fellowships each year offering a Masters degree or a professional development certificate programme are offered on a competitive basis.    Rotary Castlebar believe a fully funded Masters Degree abroad will be attractive in todays economic climate.  The individual will study in one of Rotary Approved universities in either Thailand, North Carolina, Tokyo, Argentina, California, UK or Australia.   Rotary World Peace Fellows are leaders promoting national and international cooperation, peace, and the successful resolution of conflict throughout their lives, in their careers, and through service activities.   Fellows can earn a master’s degree in international relations, public administration, sustainable development, peace studies, and conflict resolution, or a related field. Rotary World Peace Fellows are chosen based on their ability to have a significant, positive impact on world peace and conflict resolution during their careers.
